Karen Fleming wins Provost’s Prize for Faculty Excellence in Diversity

Congratulations to PMB faculty member Karen Fleming who was selected as the 2019 recipient of the Provost’s Prize for Faculty Excellence in Diversity. Cynthia Wolberger elected to the National Academy of Sciences

PMB faculty member Cynthia Wolberger is among an elite group of researchers from around the US to be elected into the National Academy of Sciences.  Membership to the NAS signifies a sustained level of scientific discovery at the highest level.  Congratulations Cynthia!

De La Cruz awarded an NSF predoctoral fellowship!

Second-year PMB student Ana De La Cruz was awarded a prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.  Her proposal, entitled “Single cell gene profiling of host-microbe interactions”, was among a small group selected for funding from over 2000 applicants. Congrats Ana!

Rachel Green and Cynthia Wolberger elected to American Academy of Arts and Sciences!

PMB faculty members, Rachel Green and Cynthia Wolberger, were two of five Hopkins faculty members newly elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
